Studio 5 Partnership’s architectural designers have successfully implemented modernization plans for scores of supermarkets throughout the New York / New Jersey metropolitan region.
None proved more challenging to resolve than the remodeling of the A&P Store in Park Ridge, NJ.
This store was the first in the chain to incorporate a new international design theme which emphasizes “FRESH” produce, fish and meats and prepared specialty foods products. Studio 5 Partnership was the architect responsible for taking European design concepts and materials and adapting them to the marketplace using code-compliant materials and mechanicals.
A key feature in the store is a special lighting scheme that highlights and enhances the appearance of food products by using color matched lamping and special lighting fixtures. The unusual concept and details developed the Park Ridge store will soon be implemented at other A&P locations.
