Fair Lawn Community Center
Kipp and 20th Streets, Fair Lawn, New Jersey
The 42,000 square foot Fair Lawn Recreation & Community Center was designed to replace inadequate facilities located in two different buildings in the Borough, which serviced several diverse groups including a youth activities center, art studio and Community Theater.
This new three-level facility is a vast improvement over the original structure's sideline and will include a high school sized auditorium with appropriate clearances that were previously lacking. Facilities for the children will include a complete table games area, computer games room, electronic games area and a teen lounge.
The Radio Club, with rooms for meetings as well as the storage and use of sophisticated radio equipment, has been provided. The Radio Club can also serve as part of the Emergency Contingency Plan for the Borough. The project was constructed by March Associates, of Wayne, New Jersey.
