Spiral Binding
Totowa, New Jersey
The Spiral Binding Company produces binding systems sold by most stationary stores. As the design architects, we were challenged with the client's desire to create a high image presence without overbuilding or overspending their budget.
The designers completed this project above the remains of a fire-destroyed printing plant, utilizing the remaining slab and foundations as the foundation for the new building.
The 125,000 square foot facility was built of concrete masonry and serves as manufacturing, storage and office headquarters for the growing company. Following the initial project, we were called back to design a 25,000 square foot addition to the warehouse and to increase the office mezzanine by 10,000 square feet.
Services provided included site planning, architectural and interior design as well as construction phase services. In addition, we assisted in obtaining community approval for the original and expanded projects.
