Congregation Gates of Prayer Interiors
Metairie, Louisiana
Members of Studio 5 Partnership worked closely with the Capital Campaign, Ritual and Interior Décor committees to develop a comprehensive and coordinated interiors program and solution to enhance, coordinate and set a new interior design solution for the interiors of the building.
Starting with the Sanctuary, old design elements were replaced with a new ark, carpeting, wall finishes and Judaic decorative elements.
A new Entry Foyer was created with materials and colors created to be easily maintained and reflect a cool, sunny appearance, as well as provide social space to gather and chat. Offices were redesigned and re-furnished. The multi-purpose Social Hall was redecorated with materials and finishes that were upscale but permitted both ritual as well as social use.
Finally, the classrooms and youth activity spaces, including offices, were expanded and upgraded to function properly and permit expansion in the future.
